This was taken at the Attalla Heritage Festival. I was shooting singers on a stage and just happened to turn around at the right time. :( Too bad i didn't have time to get the bush outta my way.
Attalla, AL is a smaller city just west of Gadsden, AL.

Gadsden, AL - Reminder of Days Gone By
I love riding the back roads all around Gadsden, AL. You never know what you're going to find. History is everywhere, you just have to look.
Gadsden, AL - Downy Woodpecker
I love bird photography. It's like hunting (without the gun or messy kill). We have a great variety of birds pass through Gadsden, AL. Hardest part is hunting them down.
Homeless Dwelling
I work with the homeless in Gadsden, AL. Our problem here is as great as anywhere. Not many jobs , not much affordable housing. We do what we can to help.

Gadsden, AL - Me and my Shadow
This shot has gotten by far the most attention. I love the contrast here, and the way the cats decided to pose exactly that way. It was just a case of right place right time.
Gadsden, AL - FUMC Gadsden second view
This is my second photo of First United Methodist Church in Gadsden, AL. This is done using HDR (High Dynamic Range) a form of processing. I like the way HDR looks sometimes but I'm not sure how much I'll use it yet. Although I love this shot.
Danny Long Photography
First of all I'm an amateur photographer. I'm sure that is painful evident in some of my work. I have been taking photos for about 3 years now. I take pictures in and around Gadsden, AL. I love the area I live in and love documenting Northeast Alabama for others to enjoy.
